On August 21st, the Small Business Administration provided a notice that many email scams have been circulating where malicious actors are impersonating both the SBA and the Office of Disaster Assistance. These email scams are targeting individuals who may be seeking federal aid in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). These scam emails are attempting to collect personally identifiable information for fraudulent purposes, access personal banking accounts, or install harmful viruses on your computer.

If you receive an unusual email claiming to be from One Bank of Tennessee or the SBA related to your PPP loan, do not click any links in the email or provide personal information.
